SIPs panels

SIPs

Structural insulated panels, commonly known as SIPs are sandwich panels used in the construction of floors, walls and roofs for residential, commercial and educational buildings.

The construction of the panel generally consists of an outer skin of magnesium oxide (MgO) or oriented strand board (OSB) with an insulating core material such as PIR, PU or mineral wool which are typically bonded together with a polyurethane adhesive.

There are many advantages to using SIPs for construction projects and these include improved energy efficiency, rapid construction, excellent insulation, durability and cost effectiveness.
